The main materials used by these yoga companies for producing yoga mats were extremely cheap PVC and plastic.

One among the yogis who were experiencing problem with the cheap yoga mats produced by the other companies approached jade industries and requested them to make a yoga mat model that could solve the problems of yoga enthusiast. Jade industries that were already producing rug pads from natural rubber approached the situation from the angle of people who are interested in yoga. Thus the first jade yoga mat was introduced into the market.

Jade harmony was the first yoga mat model from jade industries. The company is currently situated in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. The company has a great reputation in the market as they are producing many eco-friendly products for the common man. In fact, it is now hard to find a yoga enthusiast without having a jade yoga mat.
